_ Eric grew up in Luckey, Ohio and moved to Bowling Green in 1995 when he married his wife Heidi from Ayersville, Ohio.  Heidi was raised in the Baptist church, and Eric did not attend church.  After a bit of persuading, Eric agreed to begin looking for a church with his wife.  The most logical way to do this was start in the phone book.  As BG Alliance Church was listed as “Alliance Church” in the yellow pages, it was the second one they visited (Agape Church was the first). Eric and Heidi both felt an immediate connection with the welcoming people and pastor.

They began regularly attending BG Alliance in the spring of 1996 and shortly thereafter Eric made a decision for Christ. They began to build lasting relationships with the other caring members of the congregation.  Eric has served in various capacities in the church including usher, trustee, head trustee, offering counter, governing board member, and currently as church treasurer.  He is also very active in the men’s ministry “Ironmen.”  Eric is a project manager with Lake Erie Electric in Bowling Green, and his wife teaches second grade at Kenwood Elementary in Bowling Green.  They have two daughters, Alexandria who is 12, and Dominique who is 9.  The entire family values the support, prayers, and fellowship of their church family.

Doug first attended BG Alliance while attending BGSU as an undergraduate.  Doug and his family (wife Molly, son Jacob, daughter Emma) have attended the church for 16-plus years and participate in many areas of ministry.  Doug enjoys the church’s focus on missions and enjoys the Friday morning Iron Men group.

_Kathy came to BG Alliance 40-plus years ago with two small children, Donna & Mike. She was seeking a church home with "in-depth" Bible teaching and Holy Spirit filled. Over the years God has Blessed her with powerful friendships and prayer support through important life events. Kathy still finds Joy in being an active part of God's plan of growth, Worship, and outreach this Alliance Church offers the Bowling Green Community.
